Focus on Beliefs

We believe:

In the Bible as the Divinely inspired inerrant Word of God, the revelation of His mind and will to man, our infallible, all-sufficient guide for salvation and for the Christian life.
In one God, the Creator of all, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is true God and true man begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and that He has a perfect and sinless humanity.

In the total depravity of the nature of man through his fall in the Garden of Eden, and the absolute inability of man to save himself from eternal punishment by his own works.

In the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved; and the everlasting conscious punishment of the unsaved.

In the finished work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary, through which sacrifice Christ has effected complete and eternal redemption, God setting His seal of approval on the work of Christ by raising Him from among the dead, enthroned Him at His own right hand in Heaven and that He is the head of the Church, the Lord of the individual, the High Priest over the House of God and Advocate in the family of God.

The immediate and eternal salvation of every person who truly believes on Christ and by faith rests on His finished work as the only righteous ground on which a Holy God can forgive sins.

That all who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again of the Holy Spirit, indwelt by the Holy Spirit and by the Holy Spirit baptized into the Body of Christ, the Church, of which He is the risen and ascended Head.

In following the Lord’s example and instruction by being baptized by full immersion in water as the first step of obedience for the new believer.

That the early Church met together and “continued steadfastly the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42). – God’s pattern for the Church today.

In the personal premillennial coming of the Lord in the air to Rapture the Church.

In the revelation of Christ in glory at His Second Advent to establish His Kingdom on earth and to reign in righteousness.

Focus on Worship

We observe the Lord’s Supper as the central part of our worship service every week when we come together as a local church. We understand from Scripture the Lord’s Supper is a communion for believers whereby we corporately remember the Lord Jesus Christ and proclaim his death until He comes. Our invitation to share in the communion is extended to all believers.

During the worship service the entire congregation is actively involved in the worship of God. Believing men, as led by the Holy Spirit, are free to lead us in worship through praise, a psalm, a hymn, teaching, an exhortation, or prayer in accordance with the Holy Scriptures.

Focus on Ministry

The focus of all ministry and outreach programs is to bring individuals into a person saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him as the central figure in their life.

Focus on Missions

Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

We strive to place as great an emphasis on missions as God does in His Word. Several chapel families and individuals have gone out from among us to fulfill God’s call and serve in different missionary organizations throughout the world.

As a chapel, and as individuals, we support these believers through prayer, physical and financial support. We also support other believers, organizations and ministries whom the Lord lays upon our hearts.

Focus on Meeting

Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
