We have a number of different email lists in use:
[LHBC-Chat] is used for general-purpose chat and sharing among members - anyone can post, and emails go to everyone.
[LHBC-Announcements] is used for chapel-wide announcements and online meeting links - posts wait for approval before being sent out.
[LHBC-Prayers] is used for prayer requests and praise reports - posts wait for approval before being sent out.
Youth Group Weekly Emails is used to inform youth group parents or members of what’s going on, and usually includes a link for RSVP.
Sunday School Parents is used to keep in touch with parents of younger children in Sunday School.
How does it work?
Most of these are for use by those attending meetings at Lake Howell Bible Chapel, or interested parties. When members send an email to the group address, every member of the list will get it. All emails from the list will be tagged with [LHBC], and have a link to your Settings / Unsubscribe page. You may choose to receive messages immediately, or in a daily digest, or pause them, or unsubscribe completely.
When would I use them?
The LHBC-Chat list is designed to facilitate fellowship among the believers. Use it for sharing or asking for encouragement, thanksgiving, prayers, and other thoughts. Basically anything you would normally share at prayer meeting. The others are set up for specific purposes, and those emails are moderated.
